WORTHINGTON, OH - Today,
FCBank, headquartered in Worthington, announced its support of a new program from
The Worthington Partnership that will help local businesses in the community. The
Worthington Dollars E-Card is a community-based digital gift card that makes local shopping fun and easy.
“Beyond our commitment to high-quality banking products and services, giving back through community involvement is incredibly important to FCBank, and we are thrilled to team up with The Worthington Partnership on this important initiative,” said Jenny Saunders, president, FCBank. “It’s important we align ourselves to initiatives that matter most to the communities we serve, and we are excited that small businesses will directly benefit from this support.”
The purchase of the gift E-card creates a pool of funds that directly supports local businesses in Worthington. FCBank donated the initial funding of $2,500 that will provide $25 “bonuses” to customers who purchase $100 in E-cards, which will add up to $25,000 total going back to the local business community. The digital gift cards can be used at any of the 28 (and growing) businesses and make a great gift option.
“Through FCBank’s support, we are able to drive engagement and support of Worthington’s small business community while providing a great gift option for consumers,” said Annina Parini, executive director, The Worthington Partnership. “We appreciate partners like FCBank who give back and make our Worthington community even stronger.”
