Columbus, Ohio – (March 7, 2024) - The Ohio Chamber of Commerce recognized FCBank president Jenny Saunders as CEO of the Year at the Chamber’s annual Women in Business Summit. Hundreds of attendees gathered at the Renaissance Hotel in Columbus to celebrate women in business and explore the importance of mentorship.
Ms. Saunders was selected for this inaugural award by senior leaders of the Ohio Chamber of Commerce.
"I am thrilled and honored to receive this recognition from the Ohio Chamber of Commerce,” said Ms. Saunders. “To be presented this award in the company of so many successful women leaders and future leaders is something I will always remember.”
A native of St. Mary's, Ohio, and graduate of the Ohio State University, Ms. Saunders assumed the role of president at FCBank in 2017, bringing over 40 years of community banking experience. She also serves as the first vice chair for the Ohio Bankers League. Ms. Saunders is a renowned public speaker, emphasizing the importance of mentoring, community collaboration and sharing FCBank’s personal approach to helping businesses thrive.
Under Ms. Saunders leadership, FCBank is actively involved in the Ohio Chamber of Commerce and local Chambers in Columbus, Westerville, Grandview, Bucyrus, Cardington, Fredericktown, Shiloh, and Worthington.
