Jenny Saunders, President of FCBank, today announced the launch of FCBank’s 10 Fantastic Charities, a contest for local non-profit organizations to complement the Bank’s major sponsorship of Worthington Parks & Recreation’s Concerts on the Green series.
FCBank’s 10 Fantastic Charities will begin May 13 with a nomination phase. Individuals can vote on the Bank’s Facebook page, or using the form below, for a favorite local non-profit to become one of ten contest finalists. The FCBank 10 Fantastic Charities finalists will be announcedat the concert on June 3, 2018 and will proceed to open voting for finalists to receive monetary awards from FCBank. The organizations with the most votes will receive $3,500, $2,000, and $1,000, respectively, and the additional seven organizations will each receive $500.
Anyone can vote daily on Facebook or at the Worthington branch located at 6600 North High Street. Nomination voting runs from May 13-27 and finalist voting runs during the final weeks of the Concerts on the Green series, June 3 through August 10. Awards will be announced at the final concert on August 12.

To be eligible for the contest, non-profits must be designated as IRS 501(c)(3) organizations and must be located in Central Ohio and serve communities in the Worthington, Ohio area. Full rules and regulations can be found here.

Concerts on the Green is a free concert series held on the Northwest Quadrant of the Village Green in Worthington, Ohio (corner of High Street and Dublin-Granville Road) on 13 Sundays throughout the summer.
