Worthington, OH – Jenny Saunders, president of FCBank, is pleased to announce that Darren Cherry
, area president for FocusCFO, has been appointed to the FCBank Board of Advisors.
In this capacity, Cherry will provide community leadership and guidance as FCBank continues to expand in the Central Ohio market while serving the financial needs of the region’s small to middle-market businesses, commercial real estate, and consumer banking clients.
“We are very pleased to have a leader like Darren Cherry, who possesses a wealth of community and financial services experience, join our Board of Advisors. We know that he will provide a significant perspective on how FCBank can better assist our clients to grow their businesses,” said Saunders.
Prior to joining FocusCFO, Cherry served as area president for Greif, Inc., a global packaging manufacturing company, where he worked for nearly 20 years. He is a Certified Value Growth Advisor, Certified Business Advisor, and Certified Exit Planning Advisor (CEPA). Additionally, he is active in the local community, serving as Director of the Economic and Community Development Institute since 2019, and serving on the Board of Directors for the Girl Scouts of Ohio’s Heartland and Worthington Area Chamber of Commerce.

A native and resident of Gary, Indiana, Cherry received his bachelor’s degree in business administration from Purdue University, and a master’s degree in business administration and management from The Ohio State University Fisher College of Business.
