The contest now proceeds to open voting for finalists to receive monetary awards from FCBank. Anyone can vote on FCBank's community Facebook page or at the Worthington office, located at 6600 North High Street, every day from now until Friday, August 10 at 11:59 p.m.  Awards will be announced at the final concert on August 12. The three organizations with the most votes will receive $3,500, $2,000, and $1,000, respectively, and the additional seven organizations will each receive $500.

The finalists were announced at tonight’s Worthington Parks & Recreation’s Concerts on the Green event. The Bank is the title sponsor of the free summer long concert series.

“We are thrilled with the community’s support of Concerts on the Green and the support for 10 Fantastic Charities as well,” Ms. Saunders said. “Over 1,360 votes were cast for an array of non-profits that serve the Worthington area. The high level of participation is a testament to the vital roles these organizations have in our community.”

To be eligible for the contest, non-profits must be designated as IRS 501(c)(3) organizations and must serve the Worthington community.  Contest rules and regulations are available on FCBank’s website.
